SHIPMENT ERRORS
All shipping errors must be brought to the attention of Sentinel Fence within five business days. If the error was ours then we will provide you with the correct inventory and cover the costs of shipping the replacement pieces to you and the returned merchandise back to us. Any replacement pieces must be shipped back in their original packaging. If the error is your fault then you will be held accountable for all freight and restocking fees.
RESTOCKING FEES
All returns must have written consent from our management prior to acceptance by Sentinel Fence. The returning dealer must pay for the return freight and restocking fees. All merchandise must be returned in its original packaging and will be inspected upon arrival. Dealers who return damaged merchandise that cannot be repaired or resold will not receive credit. Customized products cannot be returned for credit. All approved return shipments will incur a 30% restocking fee. The minimum restocking charge is $50 plus all outbound freight charges. Credit will be given for all acceptable returns. Please contact our Customer Service Department to learn how to properly repackage the merchandise.
CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES
All changes or cancellations on orders made 48 hours after placement of said order, but prior to shipment are subject to a 10% cancellation fee. Customized merchandise cannot be cancelled and the invoice price must be paid. Any orders that are cancelled after they are shipped will be treated as a return and applicable restocking fees will apply.
MATERIAL DAMAGE
If you receive a shipment with damaged merchandise please call our Customer Service Department for directions. If the majority of the order is satisfactory, you should accept the shipment and file a claim with the carrier. Any damaged goods discovered post-delivery should be reported to the carrier immediately. All shipments that contain damaged materials need to be reported to Sentinel Fence within five days. Claims that are not reported within five days may be denied by the carrier.
POOL CODE
It is the responsibility of the homeowner to ensure that the purchased fence meets local pool code. Sentinel Fence recommends that the customer contact their local municipal authority for pool codes.
